1. Why you guys? I have a great freelancer!With freelancers you get what you pay for. Less experienced freelancers are cheap, but unreliable, and often unskilled. In-demand freelancers can be painfully expensive and hard to nail down to a timeline and a budget. Plus freelancers can be awfully tricky to get in touch with. We take professionalism seriously and stand by the quality and the cost-efficiency of our work. And of course, communication is the key to a great final product.
2. How long will my project take?Flash project vary greatly in detail, and we always provide formal delivery dates after your submission, but here are a couple samples to give you an idea of our turn around times: Basic Package with 3 page designs: 3-5 business days Budget Package with 1 page design: 2-3 business days Professional Package with 5 page designs: 5-8 business days. If you are on a tight schedule select our rush service when you submit your project.
3. What coding standards do you conform to?We build all our projects to conform with top industry standards: 100% of content is loaded with xml files, that includes site copy, images, sounds, etc. All AS3 code resides in external class files, we execute within an MVC framework, and code-based tweening is implemented with AS3 TweenLite packages.
4. How should I prepare my files?Photoshop (psd’s) and Illustrator (ai) files usually work best. Keep the graphics on as many layers as possible so we can pull things apart as needed. We'll figure out what needs to be rasterized. If your design uses non-standard fonts we'll need you to include them when you package your files so we can embed them in the Flash files. We also need to know the details of your link and text colors, and whether text in the design should be created using images or html text.
5. What forms of payment do you accept? We accept Paypal and Google Checkout. Visa, American Express, and Mastercard are processed via Paypal.
6. How does this process work?You send us your design files, we optimize the graphics and animate the design, then return the source and compiled files ready to go! Contact us for all the details.
7. How fast is your rush service?When you select rush service we cut our standard delivery time in half. For example, a Basic Package with 3 page designs would take 1 to 3 business days to complete.
8. Do you do intro animations? How much do they cost?Of course! For a regular length intro animation just add one view onto any of the packages. For lengthy story boarded intros send us the submission and we'll send you an estimate pronto.
9. How do I know my designs will be protected?Every project is protected by a non-disclosure agreement, ensuring you or your client's sole ownership of the designs.
10. Do you integrate your flash projects with a database?No. To put it simply we are front-end developers. We write scripting animation and we're pros at it. Fortunately for you we have a sister service that will complete all your back-end requirements. Contact us for more information.
11. What is a 'view'? We define a 'view' as one non-moving state on a site, i.e. the completion of a full animation sequence. When a significant amount of new content is brought to the stage, it usually means that a new view has been created. If you're not sure how many views your project has just submit your requirements and we'll tell you what it amounts to.
12. Why is this service invite only?Currently, client requests are exceeding our resources, meaning that we can only take on a limited number of new clients without effecting delivery times. In order to maintain our high level of quality it became necessary to introduce an invitation-only system for bringing on new clients. This way you can be sure that we have the resources ready to work on your project when we invite you to register with us.
